InfiMotion Technology is a leading developer, manufacturer, and distributor of high-performance electric drive units for fully electric vehicles. We cover the entire value chain, from production software to individual components. Since our inception, we've experienced rapid growth and have consistently delivered outstanding results in technological innovation. InfiMotion Technology has enhanced the influence of the industry and enlightened new ideas for the future development of the electric drive field.

The headquarters is situated in Wuxi, China and in June 2022, we launched our Swedish office with the goal of establishing local manufacturing. The InfiMotion team has been responsible for over millions sold units to date, including the European market.

Our Gothenburg office is expanding, and we are looking for a Purchaser to join our European team and enhance our purchasing capabilities. At InfiMotion Technology, customer relationships are our top priority, and we are seeking a dedicated Purchaser who shares this commitment. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers, engineers, program managers, and the quality team to ensure project deliverables are met.

Responsibilities/Tasks;

  • Sourcing of components, both indirect and direct
  • Manage, establish, negotiate, and maintain commercial contracts with terms that are in the company’s best interest in close collaboration with the legal department
  • Creating purchase orders for goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery target.
  • Following up on supplier performance, quality and suggesting improvements.
  • Ensures that prototype, production parts, and tools are ordered in time to meet project timing, in close collaboration with project lead.
  • Maintain commercial relationships (incl. contract terms & conditions and annual negotiations).
  • Travels will occur

About you;Requirements;In order to succeed and thrivein this role we see that you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience demonstrating the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Background within Purchasing and at least 3 years of experience, preferable within Automotive industry

Personality;

  • Possesses commercial and strategic thinking to drive product and business growth in a dynamic market environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong international communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, with the capability to engage with personnel at all levels.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills in English, suitable for addressing large groups and senior management

Our Office;The InfiMotion office is conveniently located within the Uni3 campus at Pumpgatan 1, on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The office is easily accessible by car, bus, or the newly introduced ferry service.

For those driving, there are parking facilities available around Lindholmen. Please note that ongoing extensive roadworks are in progress to enhance future tram connections which may cause delays and inconvenience.

If you prefer public transport, simply get off at Pumpgatan or Regnbågsgatan when taking the bus. Alternatively, for ferry commuters, you'll get off at the Lundbystrand ferry terminal.
