Your Role As a Software Engineer, you will be involved in integrating our iBOS systems into a comprehensive suite of cloud-based SaaS solutions for HVAC/BMS and proptech. This integration is essential for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of building management solutions. You'll transition our codebase from C/C++ to Rust, develop APIs and algorithms to improve HVAC efficiency, and design user-friendly interfaces for our systems. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure system stability and reliability. Skills You Bring • Degree in computer science, or equivalent, with several years of work experience • Proficiency in C/C++ • Experience with Git and Linux • Knowledge within Rust, Docker, Yocto, and protocols like Modbus and BACNet Our ideal candidate has a genuine interest in computer science, a drive to learn and improve, a preference for functional programming, and an eco-conscious mindset.
