About the role - There’s no one like you! To further strengthen and support our Global Sales Team, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join us at our HQ in Gothenburg. The SDR is a critical role focused on lead generation and qualification. In this role, you will support the global sales strategy by managing daily commercial activities and Fingerprints product operations in close collaboration with the Sales Team. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining Fingerprints as a market leader through professional interactions with customers and partners. This includes reaching out to potential clients to assess interest and schedule meetings for the Sales Team. The role is new, so you will also have many opportunities to influence and develop your work together with the Sales Team. Key Responsibilities • Sales & Lead: Conduct cold calls, engage with sales leads and leads from trade shows, and prepare monthly sales forecasts, including gap closure activity. • Development & Opportunity Identification: Address customer opportunities, identifying and pursuing new customers, including assisting Marcom activities and driving opportunity pipeline management. • Contract & Issue Support: Support contracts and drive resolution of customer-based issues related to design, qualification, supply, and quality. • Customer & Market Insights: Provide market and customer insights and stay informed of key market trends. • Lead Qualification: Provide pre-qualified leads to the Sales Team by utilizing various sources. • Channel Administration: Serve as the first point of contact for distributors and manage the distribution and follow-up of stock/order management, technical questions, customer forecasting/ order tracking, and distributor training schedules. • Customer interface: Be the point of contact for customers regarding technical questions, pricing, etc, to secure a smooth sales process. Your background • A university degree, preferably in business administration, engineering, or equivalent experience. • Target 3~5 years of sales experience, preferably in the electronics market within sensor products or electronic components. Marketing experience can be considered where sales-based responsibilities have been demonstrated. • Experience in call centers/ or sales support and technical/electronic/semiconductor/ cyber security environments is a plus. Who you are • Fluent in English. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to actively build and develop business contacts. • Strong problem-solving skills with a positive approach to new ideas and seeing new opportunities. • Demonstrates a “can do” attitude at all times. • Manage an international and fast-paced dynamic environment, balancing several priorities at the same time. • Willing to travel. • To act and deliver the FPC values – Smart, Brave, Open, and United.
