We are now looking to strengthen our IT Team in Bangkok, Thailand, and are looking for an IT Technician to join the team.
The work tasks will focus mainly on providing first and second line IT support, utilizing your understanding of all things related to IT, to support our users who are working from all over the world. You will report to our IT Service Manager and will be part of an IT team of about 5 employees, as well as part of the entire IT & R&D department of about 15.
This role is mainly a remote (work from home) position, but there will be the occasional need to come to our general office or one of our IT Service Desk locations. Because of this, it is an advantage if you live in Bangkok or Rayong, Thailand - However, it is not a hard requirement.Could this be you?To fit into this role, you need to have a genuine interest in IT, as well as prior experience in working with IT support. You enjoy working both individually and as a team, in an international environment, and you find challenges in solving the most tricky tickets. You are used to working in an organized manner, meeting deadlines and managing your time efficiently. You have a sharp, logical mind, great problem solving skills, and you see possibilities and solutions where others see problems. You are used to taking your own initiatives and you work to improve things all the time. We believe you are:
Willing to live in Thailand, working remotely

A generalist that likes everything with IT and eager to learn more
A person with native English speaking level
Process oriented
We believe you have:
4+ years of experience working within the IT field
Expert knowledge in regards to Windows OS
Good knowledge of device management using MDM tools like Intune, Jamf.
Good knowledge of computer hardware
Good knowledge in Linux
Good knowledge about ITIL process and best practices
Good knowledge of network
Basic knowledge of Docker
Experience working in an ITIL environment with an ITIL based ticket systems
Experience in supporting web based in-house developed applications
Experience in using troubleshooting methodology
Experience in working in an international company
Experience of working in an IT support (phone, tickets/emails, chat)
It is not required, but would be great if you also have:
A university degree within a relevant area
Knowledge of Git or SQL
Knowledge of AWS services
