Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Manager Metals and Raw Materials to join our Stockholm team.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon-free society, and this is your opportunity to take part in leading those efforts and help drive us to success.

As a Manager Metals and Raw materials you are responsible for the commercial strategy development and execution for metals, metal salts and intermediates used in the production of precursors and cathode active materials, in addition to expert advice in equivalent products purchased to supplement internal production capacity constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing strategy development and execution for Metals and Raw Materials
• Supplier Relationship Management
• Where applicable, sales of high value excess stock and by-products
• Supply Chain and Finance tasks related to capacity optimization, gross profit maximization and cashflow sensitivity
• Presenter on Raw Materials topics for key internal and external stakeholders
• Raw Materials Trade policy subject matter expert
• Representing Northvolt’s interests in external committees (eg. LME)

We believe that you have

Qualifications and experience

• Tertiary qualified in Engineering and/or Finance
• >5 years’ experience in mining and metals
• >2 years’ experience buying and/or selling primary and secondary products containing multiple metals
