Key Responsibilities & Tasks
People and Business Leadership
• Manage the whole People Relations function in the region
• Set vision and strategy for the People Relations function in the region, securing deployment of People Plan
• Ensure that the people relations budget allocation for all countries is in check
• Drive local continuous improvement / change initiatives in alignment with company-wide programs
• Oversee the development of the People Relations team, providing coaching and learning opportunities to team members
Program Design & Delivery
• Guide the design and implementation of large-scale local and regional people program
• Translate global People Strategy into region-specific people plans
Labor Law and Compliance
• Stay up-to-date on changes in labor law, compliance and other legislation affecting employees
• Create a structure/governance that foster healthy Union/Work Council relations
Ethics and Discipline
• Oversee selected discipline, grievance and code of conduct/ethics cases (e.g. extremely sensitive, involves top management, etc.) together with Country People Relations Manager
People Analytics
• Drive the delivery of people KPIs and consistent employee experience in the region
• Leverage data and analytics to drive strategic people decisions for the region
Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 10+ years of HR leadership experience heading a country/region or supporting a line of business, including leading teams
• 5+ years leading a team of HR professionals
• HR experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
