We are looking for a Head of EHS, EMEA, who will managing and coordinating Environment Health, Safety and Sustainability within region to provide standardization and drive continuous improvement to achieve “be the partner of choice” vision.

Your Role

• Improvement: Analyzing EHSS performance of EDS EMEA, identifying and implementing improvement projects to achieve desired EHS&S level that supports company strategies
• Supporting Resources : Supporting resources and systems such as reports, processes, training and/or documents and ensuring that they are used to create the greatest value for APTIV.
• People Management : Functional leader of EHSS within region/division, supporting communication of EHSS with other departments/functions to create a supportive and cooperative work environment. Training and supporting EHSS coordinators within the region.
• Global Cooperation: Taking part on global Aptiv EHS&S breakthrough projects, in coordination with corporate EHSS management and cooperating with EHSS management globally.
• Sustainability: Supporting sustainability journey of the region, contributing with projects, guidance and cooperation with global team.
• Define EHSS strategy and steps to achieve desired goals.
• Lead EHSS region/divisional team.
• Lead the EHS management systems considering Aptiv EHS Standards the international standards, EHS Policy, legal requirements, customer requirements and others that the organization subscribes.
• Prepare and lead plants for Corporate audits.
• Responsible for the timely reporting of monthly environmental metrics and monthly safety metrics of all the sites.
• Lead ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 initial certification processes on sites.
• Drive the regional sustainability agenda for Aptiv.
• Deploy of Safety A3 / Safety Improvement Plan for region.

Your Background

University Degree within relevant area and well documented experience working with EHS at global/regional level within automotive industry and Electrical Distribution Systems.
