Job Description

We are now looking for Area Manager Development & Technology who will be responsible for strategizing delivery plans around development, integrations, UX and overseeing its execution in order to provide best-in-class SAP application, both on-prem and in Cloud to improve platform's efficiency and business processes.

This is a full-time position with placement in Stockholm, Sweden.

Key expectations from this role are to oversee selection, deployment, operations and maintenance of the SAP applications and its associated systems. Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure teams create/maintain conceptual, logical and detailed SAP Platform while meeting security and operational requirements
• Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of SAP standards and guardrails designed to ensure adherence to H&M data and information policies (e.g. related to data quality/integrity, access/security, confidentiality, use, retention, destruction, archiving)
• Analyze service performance based on data provided and interpret the data to determine the quality of the service in the whole process chain – validate this against the user perception of the service
• Define the SAP vendor and partner strategy and governance model
• Define, document and continuously review / update a clear SAP operating model outlining H&M's SAP organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, and ways of working
• Define best practices around SAP ABAP, Integrations, UX for on-prem and cloud development
• Document and maintain H&M's SAP solution delivery methodology and including templates, tools, accelerators and best practice guidelines for relevant activities
• Formal staff responsibility, including salary review, performance dialogues and support in individual development plans and competence needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SAP platform development, delivery and maintenance
• 5+ years of Management experience in leading functional teams and collaboration with external service providers and being contract owner
• Proven experience in providing both technical delivery and advisory services in a senior role
• Must have a good understanding of SAP best practices
• Strong people skills that contribute to an open and collaborative environment
• Ability to communicate the SAP strategy to a variety of team members
• Ability to embrace & reduce uncertainty through continuous validated learning
• Ability to partner with engineers and operational managers to work on improvement of the SAP applications and platform
• Analyze service performance based on data provided and interpret the data to determine the quality of the service in the whole process chain – validate this against the user perception of the service
• Enjoy working in a diverse, dynamic, collaborative, transparent, environment where everyone's ideas and opinions are equally valued
• Good understanding of SAP BTP and SAP roadmap around composable apps
• Good knowledge of S4 development practices (ie. In-Apps, Extensibility,..)
