Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automotive Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, working on embedded development projects using C/C++.
• Engage in hands-on fault tracing and troubleshooting in automotive systems onsite.
• Influence your daily tasks and responsibilities based on your unique experience and interests.
• Debug and resolve common software issues such as segmentation faults, race conditions, thread safety, performance bottlenecks, and memory management problems.
• Work with various configuration and build environments including Jenkins, Docker, and Vagrant.
• Conduct extensive testing on software and embedded electronics, creating scripts to interact with and test systems.

What You Bring:

• A problem-solving mindset with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Self-motivation and responsibility as a team player.
• A university degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years of professional experience.
• Proficiency with embedded operating systems and/or Linux, QNX, or AUTOSAR.
• Strong debugging skills for software and embedded systems.
• Experience with configuration/build environments like Jenkins, Docker, or Vagrant.
• Excellent communication and networking skills for effective collaboration.
• Troubleshooting experience beyond code debugging.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Automotive industry experience.
• Familiarity with CAN/LIN protocols.
• Network analysis skills using tools like tcpdump or Wireshark.
• Proficiency in crash dump analysis using gdb.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and experience with networking/automotive protocols.
