Job Description

We’re looking for a driven and experienced People Relations Specialist who will focus on Work Environment to join our team in an exciting time where you will be able to drive change and make an impact daily. You will work as a People Relations Specialist for the Swedish Support Office, a team that supports all stores within the Swedish sales market. You will work both independently and together with the rest of our central HR team, but also closely together with other managers and employees within the market.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Improve and develop processes, guidelines, tools and routines within Health and Work Environment.
  • Work with legal requirements
  • Contact with our Employer Organisation (Svensk Handel)
  • Close collaboration our work environment representatives and union representatives
  • Ensure best Way of Working regarding work environment at all our departments
  • Be a part and lead different projects within the area work environment
  • Support to Area HR and Managers in people relation related questions which includes labor law and work environment
  • Work with and support in rehabilitation processes
  • Cooperate with health care partners
  • Training managers in Health and Work Environment
  • Supporting the business with people relation related questions


Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in People Relations and/or have previously worked in similar roles which involved gathering extensive knowledge of work environment. You must be confident to make decisions that support evolving the business and you must have high integrity. We are looking for someone who, when faced with a problem, is solution-oriented and pragmatic in their approach. We are looking for a curious team player who is eager to learn, and someone who strives to build great relationships and collaborations internally and externally.

Your skills & experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the HR area of work environment
  • Have experience in labour law and leading negotiations and have a track record of building good relationships with the union and
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in relevant academic field or equivalent work experience
  • Clear communication skills including written and verbal skills in English and Swedish
  • Experience in setting and implementing strategies and/or projects
  • Being fair, empathetic, communicative, and committed to both the business and the well-being of the employees
  • Have an analytic and reflective mind-set
  • Experience within Retail/H&M is an advantage
