Your role and responsibilities

ABB Electrification Service is a leading provider of electrical power products, systems and services around the world. We strive to be close to our customers and are therefore represented in several locations around Sweden – from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south. The market is growing and we need to become more and more of us, which is why we are now looking for a Project Manager in electric power. Our mission is to provide services that increase reliability, availability and profitability and reduce the environmental impact of the customer's production facilities. We cover the entire plant life cycle and help our customers work with continuous improvements.

We are now looking for a structured and committed Project Manager who wants to build the foundation for an exciting future within ABB. In this role with us at Electrification Services, you will lead the implementation of medium-sized projects with the goal of delivering good quality and safety in product and service deliveries to our customers.

You will report to the Project Manager for ELSE Sweden and at your disposal you have a team of talented colleagues who will support you in the role.

The position is hybrid and located in Västerås.

• Ensure health, safety and environment, financial targets and timetable
• Lead project teams and establish approaches for project execution
• Monitor and control project progress, efficiency, and resource utilization
• Works proactively to identify and manage project risks
• Coordinates services, materials and equipment for the project
• Acts as a key contact for the customer and internal stakeholders
• Communicates status and progress with internal and external stakeholders
• Create final report and follow up on outcomes and customer satisfaction

Qualifications for the role

• We would like you to have experience as a Project Manager or Service Technician
• It is an advantage if you can read mechanical and electrical drawings and have knowledge of low and/or medium voltage products
• As a person, you are structured and meticulous and have a business-like mindset
• You are a person with strong drive, are self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
• You enjoy building relationships and creating commitment and have an ability to handle many tasks at the same time
• You have good computer skills and master Swedish and English in speech and writing
