The role

We're looking for a Group Financial Accounting Specialist to join the Accounting team, a key part of the finance department. The accounting team is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making within the organization. As the Group Financial Accounting Specialist, you will have a key role in the continued expansion and development of the financial processes within the group.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Group Financial Accounting Specialist you have a key role in the Accounting and finance team team and your responsibilities will be:

• Oversee and improve financial control processes and systems
• Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
• Being a key player in developing and producing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to the finance team and other departments
• Be responsible in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and preparing memos.
• Coordinate and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes as well as consolidation and cash flow reports
• Evaluating and managing risk as well as overseeing processes for tax matters.

Mandatory requirements

• Minimum bachelor degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience from a similar role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and other international accounting standards
• Experience in group consolidation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with the Netsuite is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus)
