The team

Our team of ambitious martech consultants provide clients with the cutting edge of tools and platforms for data-driven marketing and sales to drive their business results. We convert data into actionable insight and personalised customer experiences at scale.

We are growing our engagement technology team in Helsinki and/or Stockholm with more Systems Specialists with experience from the Adobe martech suite. We are a lean organisation and every new Avausian is an integral part of our future as well as the foundation of our capabilities. The role

As a Marketing Automation Specialist you will be working closely with our customers to create lasting customer experiences and enable data driven marketing across channels. You will most likely be doing most of these things:

  • Implement martech platforms in clients existing architecture
  • Integrate and move data across martech systems with real time integrations as well as batch.
  • Advise clients on data technology as well as digital marketing
  • Data modelling for clients across various industries
  • Customise and optimise functions in martech platforms. Often using built in scripting and mark-up from the target systems
  • Be in daily contact with clients and colleagues in cross functional teams
  • Deliver key business results such as driving customer acquisition, increasing up & cross-sell activities, churn reduction and increasing ROI.
  • Build campaign/landing pages and other applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL etc
  • Operate Marketing Automation software, including building customer journeys, campaign management and activating customer engagement in different channels
  • Support in the analysis and optimisation of digital advertising campaigns with an omni-channel touch (Display, Social, SEM)
  • Analyse web, CRM and digital marketing results and creating suggestions for further improvement and optimisation across channels.
  • Execute continuous A/B testing and optimising workflows based on results.

Technical Skills that are required

  • Some experience in marketing automation platforms such as Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Unica, Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo
  • Experience and understanding of relational databases with at least a basic level of proficiency in SQL.
  • Data modelling skills
  • Good to have at least basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in some programming language (C#, VB, Java)

Technical Skills that are a bonus

  • Technical experience of digital channels such as e-mail, SMS
  • Familiarity with analytics tools, such as GA/GTM, or Qlik Sense
  • Experience working within a version control management system, such as GitHub
  • Experience with project management systems, such as Jira or Asana
  • Experience with CRM tools, such as MS Dynamics or Salesforce CRM
  • Understanding of good semantics and mobile first web design
  • Understanding of UX/UI design
  • Basics in web / marketing analytics

    Practical Information

    This is a permanent position with a 6 months’ probation period, based at either our Helsinki or Stockholm office. Starting date as soon as possible or by agreement. We offer a hybrid remote workplace. You will report to the Head of Delivery of the office in which you are employed.
