Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Design technical solutions according to given prerequisites, such as function, style, volume, geometry, costs, quality targets, and regulations.
• Support and lead mechanical design engineering activities within your designated area.
• Play an active role in the delivery process and integrate contributions from others, ensuring quality and readiness before release.
• Ensure the design meets business targets and requirements.
• Provide input on product and system roadmaps.
• Network and build relationships with universities and external institutes relevant to your technical area.
• Participate in business development and innovation activities.
• Develop and manage networking across the organization and provide input to project prerequisites based on component history.
• Support junior team members and peers, acting as a role model for lifelong learning, sharing knowledge, and developing others as a trainer and/or coach.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Advanced knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience.
• Strong capability in designing technical solutions and fulfilling business targets/requirements.
• Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships across the organization and with external partners.
• Experience in business development and innovation within the mechanical design field.
• Ability to support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Confidence in working within the wider network and clearly articulating how you create value within your part of the organization.
• A broad T-shaped profile, with deep expertise in your discipline and a willingness to develop in other areas.
