We are currently seeking an IT Service Owner to join our IT Department at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). We believe you have a solid foundation in IT service management, with a few years of relevant experience. As part of a small team with diverse roles, you will be expected to work both strategically and hands-on with IT service management tasks. Responsibilities As an IT Service Owner at SSE, you'll have a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our IT services. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, such as: - Overseeing the entire lifecycle of IT services, ensuring they effectively meet the needs of the organization and its users. - Coordinating with various stakeholders to define service requirements and align them with business objectives. - Proactively identifying areas for service improvement and implementing solutions to enhance service delivery. - Ensuring well-functioning IT operations and maintenance. - Monitoring service performance and responding to incidents and service requests efficiently. - Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in IT service management to continuously optimize service quality. - Establishing and ensuring compliance with budgetary requirements. Your profile In this role, it is essential to be problem-solving, driven, and proactive, with a strong ability to take initiative. Excellent communication skills are a must, along with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals. A service-minded approach and a people-friendly attitude are highly valued. Requirements: - A few years’ experience from similar tasks, such as IT service management and IT security tasks. - Experience from procurements. This includes tasks such as identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement outcomes. - A higher education, from a relevant field such as IT or Technology. - Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. Preferred qualifications: - Certification in IT Security. - Experience in network security, mobile security, client security, IT security systems, and access systems. - Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. - Previous experience in a similar work environment. - Proficiency in IT service desk operations.
