Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our dynamic team

What You Will Work On:

  • Analyze and Understand the Environment:
  • Conduct market analysis to understand the environment and focus areas.
  • Identify the needs and behaviors of current and future customers, both external and internal.
  • Product and Service Knowledge:
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the bank’s products and services across all channels.
  • Ensure effective internal communication within the functional area.
  • Operational Activities:
  • Execute operational activities according to the business plan.
  • Follow up on and communicate activity plans, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Conduct process controls and report incidents to the Functional Area Manager.
  • Agile Leadership:
  • Implement agile leadership and work methods within the team.
  • Break down functional area OKRs into actionable activity plans for the group.
  • Development and Innovation:
  • Continuously develop the function and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and replenish knowledge as needed.
  • Data Management:
  • Provide guidance and support for building and managing data models for self-service BI needs.
  • Ensure the data store’s daily loading meets business expectations for analysis and reporting.
  • Support the building and management of data exports to other IT applications.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure quality assurance of data from source systems and throughout the data warehouse.
  • Contribute to data understanding and trust through data catalogs, quality dashboards, and reference data.
  • Operational Leadership:
  • Lead daily operational work for resourcing, competence provision, and development within the group.
  • Assist the Functional Area Manager in staffing, resource planning, and task distribution.
  • Facilitate the implementation of development and salary review processes within the team.
  • Ensure competencies and competence development in daily operations.
  • Initiate development efforts and communicate job descriptions for team members.

What You Bring:

  • Experience and Skills:
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams, particularly in data warehouses and BI.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and Azure environments.
  • Expertise in agile leadership and working methods.
  • Strong ability to analyze market and customer behavior.
  • Communication and Strategic Skills:
  • Strong communication skills with experience in internal communication.
  • Ability to work strategically while executing operational tasks.
  • Personal Characteristics:
  • Initiative-driven with a strong sense of responsibility for delivering results.
  • Problem-solving mindset, comfortable with both details and the big picture.
  • Ability to identify and explain critical problems in complex situations.
  • Proficient in finding solutions and discussing them with relevant stakeholders.
  • Understanding of both the business and IT worlds, capable of communicating effectively with product managers and database developers.
  • Skilled at highlighting problems and risks and suggesting appropriate actions.
