Role Context:

As the Construction Manager, you will Provide direction and project management for construction projects to ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet contractual obligations. Plans and defines project goals, devises methods to achieve them, and develops a thorough understanding of customer objectives, contract terms, and company policies.

You’ll

  • Lead the Construction Management team to fulfill contractual responsibilities during the construction phase and represent Worley in stakeholder meetings.
  • Direct and oversee staff activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, implement HSE plans, and maintain incident-free operations.
  • Review contractors' schedules, manpower, and equipment plans; advise and assist in work methods; ensure timely submission of HSE, quality, and progress reports.
  • Ensure adherence to company construction methods, procedures, and practices, especially in Quality Assurance, Safety, and Personnel Relations; report and address deficiencies.
  • Manage the project budget, monitor expenditures, maintain contractor/vendor interfaces, and foster an inclusive environment for team growth and development.

You'll have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of Swedish is a merit.
  • Extensive overall experience in the field and international experience
  • Experience as a Construction Manager in an EPCm project within the Resource or Chemicals sector, having completed at least one project in this role.
  • Experience working in Sweden or Scandinavia is considered to be a strong merit
