Join our Operational Management team as an Operational Performance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating, supporting, and developing our Global Production System's operational performance.

Erasteel is one leading producer of Powder Metallurgy High-Speed Steel for high performance tooling and components. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Director of Operational Performance to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Director Operational Performance, you will be a member of the Operational Management Team as well as the Extended Leadership Team with responsibility for the areas to coordinate. You report to COO.

Key responsibilites:

  • Performance management: Developing principles and tools within the Operations organization. Supporting the sites launching and implementing efficient follow-up structures that secures deliverance on Strategic and daily targets.
  • Lean transformation: Responsible of outlining, maintaining, and developing the “Erasteel Production System” and supporting in the implementation.
  • Operations PMO: Handling and coordinating the project portfolio of the operations. This includes Capex-projects, Improvement projects, Process development projects, R&D-projects, and Value creation initiatives. This also requires establishing a stage gate project model (Waterfall and Agile).
  • Strategy coordination and support: Establishing a strategy process to secure target sharing, communication, planning methodology, iteration, and follow-up, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Capex coordination and planning: Managing and establishing processes and ways of working to align the investment/capex plan with strategic objectives, focusing on safety, quality, deliveries, and productivity.
  • General Capacity & Capability planning: Coordinating and securing capacity and capability planning to ensure alignment with the production system and demand requirements in both short- and long-term perspectives.
  • Productivity and Benchmark: Conducting benchmarking activities to assess competitiveness and identify opportunities, both in daily operations as in strategic more long-term perspective.
  • Organizational development: Supporting to develop a competitive and efficient organizational structure that always and dynamically support the strategic implementation in the best way.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Academic degree, Master of Science or corresponding
  • Managerial experience in the Manufacturing industry (Steel and Process is meriting)
  • Lean transformation experience
  • Change management training and experience
  • Strategy deployment training and experience
  • Project management and Capex planning

Decision-making is a crucial part of the role, as well as an effective leadership, guiding and motivating managers and employees. You have great communication skills and speak and write fluently in English, Swedish is desirable.
