Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Quality Data Analyst to join our Skellefteå team.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. We are looking for an ambitious and driven Data Analyst to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our Technology Quality team based in Skellefteå, Sweden. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing a data-driven culture that will enable us to ensure high performance and quality in our products, contributing to the success of one of the first large-scale European battery factories.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and carry out new technology trials. Gather the data needed to make informed decisions on its effectiveness. Analyze the data and present the conclusions to stakeholders
  • Stay up to date with the latest production forecasts to support capacity planning
  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize data, making them easily accessible and user friendly
  • Improve the team’s efficiency by building data driven tools and processes to streamline operations and enhance digital capabilities

We believe that you have:

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering subject.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Experience working in a high throughput manufacturing environment.
  • Experience querying databases and manipulating and transforming data to generate insights.
  • Experience creating user-friendly data visualizations and presenting information to internal and external stakeholders.

Specific skills

  • Experience working with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
  • Proficient in using Excel and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent English skills (both written and oral)
