Scania R&D is undergoing a transformation towards a deeper cooperation between the different brands within the TRATON group. In parallel there is also a transformation towards a Lean-Agile way of working.

A prerequisite to be successful in this ongoing journey is a strong and business-driven Transformation Office. Inspired by the SAFe framework and based on our TRATON values and principles, the Transformation Office works closely with the business as a professional and competent transformation partner.

what´s your role?

In a more uncertain and complex environment, we believe that the lean-agile way of working contributes to a better way of managing uncertainty. Working in a flow oriented way and with common priorities in the global value stream landscape enable us to increase efficiency and add value to the customer and our organization. You are an important and vital part of the change journey towards a more flow oriented way of working.

Some areas of responsibility:

  • Facilitate the build-up of the development value flow landscape, ensure alignment with strategic objectives and maintain the transformation landscape and roadmap
  • Lead an identified strategic initiative, coach involved and execute solution
  • Take on a request from the business where problem solving expertise is needed to conduct a way forward – Management consulting
  • Team up with our lean agile coaches and follow progress within a dedicated area
  • Manage our transformation backlog and see to it that we prioritize, learn & adapt and is a step ahead to be able to speak from a place of experience when coaching others
  • Fostering lean agile learning and coach all forms of leaders – enabling business agility

Who you are:

With passion and encouragement, you will enable us to make Lean-Agile principles an integral part of the Scania culture to be able to meet our customer needs. You are keen to promote a culture of exploration with a developmental attitude.

With a customer focus, you have a large dose of flexibility and curiosity. You have a belief in people, realising the power of teamwork and you dare to challenge when necessary. Acting in an environment of change and implementing new ideas and solutions, even in complex situations, really gets you going.

You are the natural connection to all Lean-Agile related topics and influence and coach others to develop and continuously improve a transparent, trusting environment.

Skills:

  • Structured, with the ability to plan, set targets short/long term and execute on them
  • A leader-mindset with strong communication skills and ability to work in a consultative way, with a proven record of reaching results through cross functional work
  • Communicate fluently in English, verbally as well as in writing
  • Experience in Lean-Agile
  • Experience in the Product Development process
  • Very good in Microsoft Office and visualising tools
  • Relevant academic education
  • Knowledge of change management and a broad methodology library
  • Meritorious if you have a wide network within TRATON
