Swedish StromaBio AB is a young Swedish biopharma company developing ATMP based on mesenchymal stromal cells to treat life threatening inflammatory conditions. We are now recruiting a project manager with a scientific background to support the clinical operations team for the second half of 2024. The position will involve scientific writing of clinical trial trial documents, as well as laboratory work and we seek a person with experience in aseptic culturing of human mesenchymal stromal cells and immune-based assays.

The role:

As a project manager you are expected to support the ongoing product pipeline in the company and to take lead on specific projects. Real-work experience from product development, quality/CMC and interactions with the regulatory authorities in Sweden and/or EU is meriting.

Main responsibilities:

Project management, including preparing cost and time estimates, for defined projects within the clinical development pipeline.

Support the preclinical development and performing CMC-related experiments if needed.

Support the clinical operations team, including scientific/medical and CMC writing. This will require the ability to go through large amounts of scientific literature.

Requirements:

PhD in immunology, stem cell biology, or similar relevant topic. Hands-on experience working with human mesenchymal stromal cells and performing immune-based assays.

Minimum 2 years work experience in relevant area after PhD defense. Experience from working in biotech industry and pharmaceutical development, ideally ATMPs is highly meriting.

Experienced in aseptic cell culture work and immune-based assays.

Experienced user of Microsoft365.

Excellent English skills, Swedish is meriting but not mandatory.

Another key competence is communication skills, as you effectively need to be able to communicate with both internal and external partners. You ideally enjoy working in a small organization, where StromaBio can offer a stimulating environment with multidisciplinary project teams that work in parallel with different aspects of clinical development. Personal suitability will be important.

The position is a 7 months employment with location in Solna, Sweden.
