You will be part of Marine and Ports in Västerås. ABB's business for ports assists shipping companies to transfer containers in a reliable, quick and cost-efficient way. Ports is specialized in advanced automation and information systems for motion control of all types of container cranes. We are the leading supplier of crane systems and are active worldwide. In the large terminal automation projects, we deliver electric and automation systems for 50 to 100 cranes, to the major container ports in the world. You will work on site in our office in Västerås.

This is a role that you will combine DevOps engineering with software integration.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps for our products.
  • Support our development teams with everything related to Azure DevOps
  • Software integration and testing.
  • Living ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your background

  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science or similar.
  • You should have experience of the following technologies: Azure DevOps; Linux (Ubunutu); Scripting; Microsoft Windows (Active Directory); Network configuration; Docker; Kubernetes.
  • You have knowledge of software development.
  • Knowledge from automated software testing.
  • As a person, you are driven with an outward personality with strong customer focus and team cooperation.
  • You are highly self-driven.
  • You have a desire to learn new things and deepen your knowledge.
  • Since you will work in a global company, you need to master English in both speech and writing, Swedish language skills are meriting.
