We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team at Competence Development and Delivery as Technical Training Manager.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities:

Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring:

Conduct Train the Trainer events to secure successful product launches and deliver training to dealer personnel;

Pro-actively support the development phase and launch processes of machine/solution projects with relevant stakeholders, especially in the key trainer groups;

Cooperate with stakeholders to perform a gap and needs analysis to drive aligned and sustainable training concepts;

Support continuous learning concept in training;

Secure infrastructure for trainings conducted (training tools, equipment, training handouts);

Coach and assist dealer trainers and technicians in their continuous development paths;

Review on progress/status for possible guidance and coaching as needed;

Support technical learning path in his/her area of expertise according to set training plan;

Proactively seek information on new product developments, solutions and competitors.

Key Skills:

Professional experience working as trainer/teacher in adult learning;

Enjoys to support others in their development and growth with the right mind set and skills to successfully coach dealer personnel;

Team player with strong social competencies, supporting project teams to achieve results within set time frames;

Be an extensive international networker with high cultural understanding;

Personality to provide sustainable and effective competence development measures;

Continuous improvement mind set with the ability to challenge status quo;

Motivated and self-directed professional with a good understanding of the Volvo organisation and key processes;

Ability to work self sufficient;

Strong capability of utilizing digital collaboration tools to reduce complexity and increase work efficiency (Office 365);

Has participated in any kind of training skills program, it is a plus;

Professional attitude and demonstrates the Volvo Values.

Knowledge and experience

Technical knowledge. Mechanic, Electric or Electronic;

Has technical knowledge of heavy machinery, it is a plus;

Experience from adult learning/education;

Ability to describe, explain and demonstrate technical systems;

Ability to operate construction equipment within area of responsibility;

Complete proficiency in English. Swedish it is a plus.
