The Global Sales Engineering team is seeking a dedicated Global Sales Engineer with a strong background in Cybersecurity. In this role you will work with enhancing the cybersecurity knowledge of technical roles within our global sales organization. Who is your future team You will be part of the Global Sales Engineering organization, consisting of Global Sales Engineers who cover various geographical regions, and the Technical Training Team. Our team is a dynamic, diverse, and multicultural group of ambitious and experienced engineers committed to supporting, sharing knowledge, and training our international colleagues. What you will do here as a Global Sales Engineer Together with your colleagues you will support Sales Engineers in our global Sales teams through both proactive and reactive initiatives. You will take ownership in cybersecurity-related aspects of complex sales projects together with your peers in the region, acting as an escalation point for cybersecurity issues. Additionally, you will develop and deliver technical training for internal stakeholders. You will also build and manage an international network of cybersecurity specialists to ensure effective knowledge and feedback sharing between regional teams and HQ. Furthermore, you will collaborate with virtual teams to support the long-term implementation of Axis' cybersecurity strategy. Your responsibilities will include: * Assisting in sales projects with cybersecurity-related matters, including Vendor Risk Assessments, and acting as an escalation point for the Product and CTO organizations at Axis HQ. * Defining and executing internal technical education strategies aligned with our cybersecurity strategy and regional needs. This includes building and delivering technical training. * Establishing and leading a cross-regional network of cybersecurity specialists to facilitate knowledge transfer. * Providing market insights on cybersecurity trends and needs to the CTO and IP organizations. * Take part in creating and sharing documentation to support scalable knowledge transfer. Who We Are Looking For You have a strong technical interest, a natural aptitude for system solutions, and are good at quickly gaining and sharing knowledge. Your excellent communication and networking skills, coupled with senior-level decision-making abilities, make you a valuable asset. We believe experience is an important element to thrive in this role due to the many points of contact in different parts of our global organization. You are business-oriented and possess a solid understanding of the project sales cycle. You hold a relevant degree (Bachelor's or Master's) or equivalent experience, along with over 5 years in system engineering and relevant certifications. Additionally, you have several years of experience in customer relations. Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Your background includes several years of technical experience in the IT and/or security industry, with documented work experience in system solutions close to end customers. You possess strong knowledge of Computer Networks and Cybersecurity and have a passion for continuous learning and development in this field. Additional qualifications that are highly valued: - In-depth understanding of our products and services. - Extensive cross-cultural experience and the ability to collaborate with remote colleagues. - Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Certified Ethical Hacker, or CCSP are a plus.
