We are looking for a strategic, technical skilled Regional Sales Manager with the responsibility to develop sales and growth in our tubes market both towards existing and new customers in Scandinavia, Benelux and UK. You will have an important role of developing and building the SSAB Special Steels (Tubes) market and strategy. You will train our customers with your technical competence and together with your team give support in order to build customer value and profitability. About the position

You will be a part of a team located in Sweden and Finland and work closely with both technical support function and inside sales, reporting to Area Sales Manager in Scandinavia and Benelux/UK. You will have access to an extensive product portfolio that can support a diverse customer base. You have the responsibility to develop direct and indirect sales together with our technical support function.

Since our production sites are in Finland you will frequently travel there. The position drives the strategic development and expansion of the Sales market for Tubes in the different regions. It includes developing new customers, segments and applications, as well as upgrade existing and new customers to more advanced materials.

Extensive travelling is a part of this role!

Main responsibilities

  • Develop strategic goals for the area, secure yearly sales and marketing targets.
  • Participate in marketing actions and visit workshops and end-users on a regular basis. You will analyze and develop the strategy to increase end-user reach.
  • You will independently set up sales representations, contracts, proposals and negotiate offer, prices and other terms.
  • Document your key activities in our customer relationship management system Salesforce. Usually you have several customer meetings per week and then do a follow-up, together with reporting and planning.

About You

  • Sales experience from Technical, Mechanical or Mining Engineering, field sales/service experience, technical graduation/degree is an advantage.
  • Working experience with international or European companies, OEM or Steel distribution and experience of value creation sales.
  • You have the strategic ability to see the whole picture where you can clarify the business and the way forward and feel comfortable in delivering presentations to internal colleagues and external customers.
  • Team-oriented and easy adaptable navigating in different regions with different clients.
  • English language skills is required.
