Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management We are looking for a researcher in the subject area Landscape Governance and Management with a focus on governance. Emphasis is on the theoretical development of landscape governance, nationally and internationally, as well as the practices of landscape governance analysis, assessment and application.   About the position The main tasks for the position is to coordinate the NATURO project, with the aim to show how quality of life can be increased for marginalized user groups, by using the potential of nature. Specifically, the position will be part of developing the theoretical foundation of the project, and be responsible for the establishment and coordination of urban living labs in three European cities. This includes developing a governance protocol to be applied, tested and evaluated. Further, the position include research activities related to landscape governance and management at large, with focus on landscape governance. This includes a development of the subject, theoretically and empirically, resulting in scientific publications as well as research funding. Research activities are to be carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, in the subject area, department as well as across the university, nationally and internationally, preferably with a global south perspective. The position is also expected to contribute to the LTV Faculty’s educational activities at BSc and MSc levels, through activates such as lecturing and tutoring, course leadership, supervision and examination of thesis work.   Your profile Required qualifications • PhD degree in landscape planning, landscape governance, environmental policy or similar. • Proven knowledge in landscape governance and its relation to management, expressed in peer-reviewed publications or similar. • Proven and successful experience of course development, and from course development within the landscape governance field. • International experience in research development and research co-ordination within the landscape governance field. • Fluent in written and spoken English, and preferably in another main language. Qualifications considered a merit • Mastering other languages than Swedish and English, e.g. for work related to the global south. • Documented contributions to theory development within the landscape governance field. • Documented experience from collaboration and knowledge dissemination related to landscape governance. The Landscape Governance and Management Theme Group conducts research, development activities and education pertaining to governance and management of open spaces, primarily urban.
