The position You will be part of an interdisciplinary research group with expertise in both community medicine, biomedicine, epidemiology, and public health. The research group participates in a larger EU-funded research project with the acronym EUVABECO, which means "Europe Vaccination Beyond Covid". The project aims to analyze what lessons can be learned in Europe from the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccination of the population for possible future pandemics. Your role as the first research engineer means that you are part of the research group and participate in its international collaboration with regular research meetings and workshops. You will carry out statistical analyzes in various databases and present these in the research group, as well as participate in documenting these and writing scientific articles. The role means that you will work both independently and in collaboration with the research group. You will participate in stimulating work with good development opportunities, not least through international collaboration with other European universities and organizations. The person we need We are looking for you who have a PhD and a background mainly in the subject areas of psychology, sociology or epidemiology with a focus on public health. We want you to have: • Good experience in handling large amounts of data and carrying out statistical analyzes mainly with the statistical program SPSS. • Experience in international research collaboration in interdisciplinary environments • Experience in writing scientific articles and reports • Good cooperation skills • Good language skills in English The workplace You will work at the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health at the Department of Health, Medicine and Nursing Sciences (HMV).
