The person we are looking for should have solid IKEA experience and be passionate about people and business. It’s important in this role to have a good knowledge of various parts of our organization e.g in P&C: Talent Management, Leadership & Change and/or Retail. This, together with your leadership, planning, and communication skills will support you in doing a great job.

You should be able to apply strategic, tactical, and operational thinking to maximize the benefit for our many co-workers. Further, you will have an analytical mind and can absorb information quickly and will be able to conceptualise, develop and build on ideas. We also need your ability to create strong narratives and accompanying presentation material, reports, and other formal documents. You work interdependently and can communicate and connect with people at all levels.

Most important is that you are a true ambassador for IKEA culture and values!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As Management Assistant to Deputy P&C Manager & Business Partnering Manager you will work closely to lead, support and execute assigned global business assignments and projects to reach our our goals and ambitions – developing business through people! In this role, working with different initiatives and stakeholders, you will have a great opportunity to grow, learn, and develop a broader perspective within Ingka.

This means, some examples of responsibilities as below:

- Responsible to stay up to date on ongoing business initiatives, strategies, and people agenda, securing strategic and tactical connections, between and to these, in ongoing projects and initiatives.

- Oversee and secure preparation, organization, attendance of meetings and key forums to support the Deputy P&C Manager & Business Partnering Manager.

- Drive and manage internal key projects or change initiatives assigned by Deputy P&C Manager & Business Partnering Manager.

- Managing various contacts and represent the Deputy P&C Manager & Business Partnering Manager in different meetings / forums.

- Preparing presentations, key documents and other communication material to ensure the Deputy P&C Manager & Business Partnering Manager has all relevant information needed.

This is a permanent position but should be seen as a 2–3-year assignment, where after you will find your next step and continue your journey to grow IKEA with us. The Management Assistant role is based in Malmö.
