Are you a driven frontend developer eager to leave your mark on a company that will have a big positive impact on the future? Northvolt is looking for a web developer that thrives in creating delightful experiences to head the development of northvolt.com. By amazing we mean someone who is as interested in writing elegant code as in creating neat user interfaces. We are looking for someone with a solid coding background and good understanding of modern web stacks. But above all, we want to find a creative and curious individual. Someone who dislikes over-specified wireframes and aims to put their mark on the end result by empathizing with the end users and using creativity to solve problems.
Our ideal new team member has a solid width of experience with different types of platforms and web technology, first and foremost CSS/JS(TypeScript)/HTML5. Since you’ve probably already checked us out at buildwith.com, you now know that experience in headless CMS, Gatsby and React will come in handy.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the development of northvolt.com, and other websites of Northvolt. Together with a dedicated team consisting of a designers, content producers and the wider Northvolt communication team, you’ll continuously improve northvolt.com and make sure it reflects the ever-changing nature of this amazing company.
It’s the perfect environment for an individual who loves to hang out with non-coders while still tapping into a knowledge base of cutting-edge developers. You will be based in Stockholm, Sweden, and travel occasionally.
Responsibilities
• Continuous development of northvolt.com and cuberg.net
• Develop a codebase that is resilient and self-documenting.
• Investigate and recommend changes to the underlying tech stack.
• Communicate clearly with designers and other members of the team
