We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Specialist to oversee our financial operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our accounting processes. As the Finance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing financial reporting, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Financial Operations: Lead and supervise financial operations, accounting, and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage Bank Reconciliation: Conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare Monthly Reports: Compile and review monthly financial reports, providing insights and analysis to management.
  • Support Year-End Closing and Audit Process: Assist in year-end closing activities, annual report preparation, and coordination of audit requirements.
  • Coordinate Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Day-to-Day Bookkeeping: Oversee daily bookkeeping operations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Invoice Management: Receive and verify incoming invoices, allocate costs correctly, and ensure timely payment processing.
  • Cash Flow Management: Review and prepare weekly cash flow plans to optimize financial resources.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with internal accounting procedures and external regulatory requirements.
  • E-Commerce Sales Oversight: Review and control e-commerce sales transactions and reconcile payouts.
  • Financial Software Management: Lead the implementation and maintenance of financial software updates and improvements.
  • Team Leadership and Training: Provide guidance and training to finance team members and other staff as needed.
  • Support to Finance Director: Assist the Finance Director with strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support various business operational needs and collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in finance controlling, accounting, or similar roles.
  • Experience within the Big 4 is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
