We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager with a background in either mechanical or electrical engineering to lead initiatives for one of our clients in the clean energy/electrification sector. As a key member of our clients team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities: • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple projects simultaneously, from concept development through to completion. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for our client. • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and ensure adherence to project timelines and financial targets. • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. • Manage project documentation, including contracts, specifications, drawings, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness for our client. • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment for our client. • Monitor project progress, identify issues and obstacles, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track for our client. • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to internal and external stakeholders, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner on behalf of our client. Requirements: • Bachelor´s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering engineering projects in the clean energy/electrification sector. • Strong technical background in either mechanical or electrical engineering, with a solid understanding of engineering principles and practices. • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred. • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and build strong relationships. • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, drive results, and deliver projects on time and within budget. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically. • Commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability in all aspects of project delivery.
