We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer for our client in Stockholm.

Job Description:

Are you passionate about enhancing security processes and driving continuous improvement? Join our team at CDC Group, where you'll play a key role in improving Microsoft Defender processes and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to elevate our security practices. As a crucial member of our team, you'll document findings, streamline workflows, and ensure that our security measures are optimized both within and outside of our organization.

Daily Tasks:

• Improvement of Microsoft Defender Processes: Dive into the intricacies of Microsoft Defender processes, identifying areas for enhancement and optimization. Implement improvements to bolster our defense mechanisms and mitigate emerging threats effectively.
• Stakeholder Communication and Coordination: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather feedback, address concerns, and drive continuous improvements in our security processes. Collaborate closely with teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Documentation and Workflow Improvement: Document your findings, recommendations, and implemented improvements meticulously. Enhance workflows within the team and across departments to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.

Minimum Technical Skills:

Documented Incident Response (IaR) Experience and Knowledge: Possess documented experience and knowledge in Incident Response, such as SANS 508 certification or equivalent. Utilize your expertise to effectively respond to and mitigate security incidents.

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) using MS Defender: Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). Leverage its capabilities to detect, investigate, and respond to security threats across endpoints effectively.

Policy Management for Endpoints in Enterprise Environment: Have a strong understanding of policy management for endpoints within an enterprise environment. Implement and manage policies to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.

Additional Requirements:

Microsoft Certification: Possess relevant Microsoft certifications demonstrating your expertise and proficiency in Microsoft technologies. Certification in Microsoft Defender or related security solutions is highly desirable.
