What You'll Do: As a System Architect for ZEV OBD within the Common Base Technology team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our future concepts and system solutions. Collaborating with other architects both within and outside the organization, you'll ensure our future systems comply with upcoming Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) regulations. This involves understanding legislation in cooperation with the legal department, defining implementation strategies, and creating technical concepts and system solutions to be implemented across various nodes in the vehicle. Success in this role hinges on a collaborative approach, emphasizing interaction, visualization, and communication to ensure a common understanding and allow for iterations with all stakeholders. Who You Are: To excel in this role, you are a curious and quick learner who enjoys venturing into new areas. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written in English, are essential as you will collaborate with various teams across our company. As this is a senior engineering position, leadership skills are crucial, and you should have a personal interest in further developing them. You possess good knowledge of diagnostic fault handling, On-Board Diagnostics (OBD), requirement handling, and connecting requirements to architecture. Ideally, you hold an MSc degree in mechatronics, software engineering, data technology, electronics, or a similar field, coupled with over 7 years of relevant working experience in legislated vehicle onboard diagnostics, data communication, software development, electronics, and wired communication technologies. Software architecture skills are considered meritorious.
