The Global Integrated Business Planning organization, hosted by Sales & Marketing at Scania, is responsible for Scania’s Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) and the core process Order to Delivery (O2D). Our vision is to sustain a stable delivery flow and achieve corporate targets, ensuring that customers trust Scania’s delivery capability in the future transport ecosystem.

We are now looking for a Financial Analyst and Business Controller to join us in the journey to reach our vision and targets.

Job description

We offer you a wide, challenging and developing position in an dynamic environment. The position will expose you to a wide range of skilled people from different parts of the organization including the Executive Management of Scania. You will be involved in both the Order to Delivery process and Integrated Business Planning process by providing a financial point-of-view to our performances and processes. You will also get an in-depth understanding of the overall value created for Scania and our customers through our tactical and strategical planning.

As a Financial Analyst and Business Controller at Global Integrated Business Planning, you are responsible for compiling and coordinating the scenario build-up in the Forecast and Planning process. You are expected to identify risks and trade-offs between different scenario forecasts and to present the result of your findings to the cross-functional executive planning team. The focus and attention from Scania’s top management as well as their expectations of our results are high.

You will frequently be involved and lead different projects or investigations within our different processes at Global Integrated Business Planning or take part as an expert in our cross-functional assignments and projects.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with a broad experience, preferably from various areas within controlling and a master's degree in Business and Administration (or similar). You are used to lead projects and assignments independently and have previous experience as a process owner or project manager. You are fluent in English and have a deep knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience working with group reporting tools.

As a person, you have a genuine interest in understanding the business of Scania and how the world around us impacts our performance. You like to inspire and engage people and enjoy working together in a team. You have a positive attitude with a high level of responsibility. When faced with challenges you are curious and daring to try unknown methods and approaches to reach a result.

You have high analytical ability and are creative when it comes to finding new solutions of how to work with figures, e.g. through Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning. To explain and communicate complex matters easily and understandably for people outside of finance is a key success factor.

You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment with close contact with our finance managers and other colleagues within Business units around the world. You will also work closely together with other controllers within the Scania Group.
