Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Group Manager to join our dynamic team

What You Will Work On:

  • Lead and manage the electrical design team, overseeing and conducting design work while ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Utilize your expertise in electrical design to develop innovative solutions and drive the R&D project forward from concept to prototype stage.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical design teams and various departments such as testing, preproduction, and production to ensure seamless integration of electrical components into the overall product design.
  • Conduct design reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimization, working closely with service technicians, training staff, salespersons, and assembly teams to enhance product performance and efficiency.
  • Use AutoCAD – ELSA (Cadett Elsa) to create and review electrical drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

What You Bring:

  • Extensive experience in electrical design, preferably in a manufacturing/process industry, with a strong understanding of design principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD – ELSA (Cadett Elsa) for creating and reviewing electrical drawings, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to the client’s drawing presentation methods.
  • Some management experience or experience coordinating teams, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a small team to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work 100% on-site in Skellefteå initially, with a willingness to transition to remote work as needed in the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field, providing a strong foundation in electrical design principles and techniques.
