What you’ll do The Energy Controls group is now looking for a C++ developer for our Charging team to strengthen our capabilities in delivering Volvo’s next-level charging features. The group is working with in-house developed software in various ways such as Simulink/Target link, embedded coder, Java and C++. We deploy our software to different control units, linking together the Energy management and Charging features with the HMI experience. Your role and initial tasks will be based upon the competence and experience you bring into the team, but independently of your tasks you will need to collaborate with many different teams and individuals, both internal and external to the department. What you‘ll bring We seek someone who is open minded and curious with a good ability to cooperate, as you will be working together with different teams. You have good communication skills, and the ability to cope with many topics in parallel. You are a technical-minded team player who appreciate to work with different cultures. You are pragmatic and have a balanced sense for urgency and quality. Besides being customer focused, you have a strong analytical capability, are structured, and organized in daily work. You have 3+ years of experience in the relevant field with a Strong development background in C++ A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in engineering or computer science Experience from embedded software development and testing is meritorious. Ideally you also have experience within some of the following areas and tools: CANoe for system testing, Google Test (Unit Test), Autosar experience, Git, Zuul and CI.
