Your role

Our Clinics finance team at Embla Medical in Stockholm are looking for a Business Controller for our Clinics in Denmark (Ortos) and to co-pilot our Central Production facilities in Jönköping. Our core strategic initiative is to improve our Clinics profitability and optimize operational efficiency, and you will be instrumental in driving financial performance of these entities. You will report to the Director Business Control in Stockholm and collaborate with your finance colleagues in Scandinavia, Iceland and Eindhoven (The Netherlands). You will be supported by a financial control group in Stockholm as well as Transactional accounting and data analytics center of excellence in Szczecin (Poland). Some of your key responsibilities:

• Guide performance review meetings
• Make practical recommendations based on analysis
• Constructively challenge business partner assumptions and goals
• Understand how different stakeholder needs different approach
• Develop practical and acceptable compromises when negotiating
• Effectively prioritize business problems based on urgency and relevance
• Clarifies decision trade-offs to internal customers
• Generates multiple options to solve a problem and identifies the most effective solution

Who are you

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in (Business) Economics or Business administration
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of IFRS and basic understanding in accounting
• Excellent communication skills in English
• It´s meritorious if you have language skills in any of the Scandinavian languages, and/or if you have logistics and manufacturing experience

You are business driven and have a good understanding of business needs. You are skilled in building partnerships and influencing decisions. You enjoy working independently as well as collaborating with your team. The employment

Full time, start according to agreement. Location Stockholm, hybrid/remote. Travelling is required 1-2 weeks per quarter to Denmark and within Sweden, and 1-2 travels per year within EMEA.
