Scania CV AB Dedicated to a sustainable future The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For P&L this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in the electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a project organization with focus to develop the process for inhouse production of batteries. The projects for inhouse production aim to acquire, install and start up the production of new generation of batteries on site in Sweden and in Europe. The work is cross functional and conducted in close cooperation with purchasing, R&D departments and production partners within the Traton Group.  The project team is expanding and We are now looking to reinforce with one Industrial Engineer.  We are looking for a highly competent and flexible team player, that is dedicated to a sustainable future. Your tasks As industrial engineer the main tasks include: * Lead and participate in equipment sub projects connected to product development * Work with specification of requirements, analysis of layouts, concepts and other production related material.  * Participate in the purchasing process to acquire new equipment.  * Conduct analysis, risk assessments and other evaluations following our investment process  * Supplier contact * Prepare and execute plans with suppliers for equipment installations, acceptance test and other * Follow up of other Scania specific demands towards supplier. Your profile Openness, helpfulness, flexibility, and interpersonal skills are valued high. Bachelor, Master of Science degree or Scania Technician  Minimum 2-3 years of experience from Industrial engineering, projects or similar work experience are necessary for the role.  Knowledge of Scania processes and work methods are highly valued.  Fluent in spoken and written English is mandatory due to the international nature of the project. The work is closely conducted with production partners in Traton as well as various suppliers and therefore might travels abroad be part of your job.  You will achieve A wide connection network within Production & Logistics as well as within other functions. You will work with several other units as well as outside parties and be asked to present material for management teams on all levels of the company.  Furthermore you will be part of a team exploring a new field within Scania Production & Logistics.
