As a Technical Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with Project Management, leading the technical aspects within customer projects. This senior role entails significant responsibility in managing the overall technical scope as a lead solution architect, as well as overseeing the technical teams involved in customer projects. Typically, these projects involve executing contracts covering requirements, design, integration, testing, and system delivery for specific products. Hence, you will ensure that requirements and technical solutions are well-specified and feasible for successful project delivery within agreed-upon timelines, budgets, scopes, and quality standards.
To excel in this role, you must grasp the importance of establishing project scopes using existing products and components wherever possible, aligning customer and stakeholder requirements with a product roadmap for system-to-system integration. Moreover, you should thrive in leading technical efforts, empowering teams and engineers to define scope, specify systems, and execute design, development, and verification activities within a dynamic and creative environment.
