WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Art Director (parental leave cover) your main contribution will be to develop, create, and execute visual concepts for projects, as well as leading small production and content for social media. You will report to the Senior Art Director. Projects you will work on will include big brand moments such as brand campaigns, product launches, content for fashion shows, as well as store shoots, 3D product animations, OOH and social media content creation.

You will play a vital role in the visual global communication working with stills and moving image content by:

• Establishing visual concepts that align with the brand and communication strategy, suitable for all global channels.
• Managing projects from concept development to production to final delivery, including suggesting collaborators (photographers, videographers, directors, artists etc) and general visual research.
• Managing material and format content for all social channels, including art working and exporting files
• Ensuring the creative output is consistent and to a high level across all project objectives.
• Constantly researching content creators, talent and trends as well as technology and digital innovation.

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

• You have a good knowledge of Acne Studios as a brand and the ability to navigate the specific world of fashion, design, art, architecture and popular culture
• Minimum 4 years as an Art Director within Fashion
• Bachelor’s degree or similar within Art Direction or Visual Communication
• Expert in the adobe creative suite
• Solid experience in video editing and motion graphics
• 3D animation knowledge/ skills are a plus
• Knowledge of creative talent; photography and motion graphics
• Proficient in English (spoken & written)
