EMBEDDED SOFTWARE APPLICATION ENGINEER
For our client we are now looking for an embedded software application engineer.

TASKS
As an Embedded Software Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Software developments to support new engines and aftertreatment development to meet new emissions legislations or deliver a customer specific solution
- Software development on-board diagnostic functionality pertaining to the system design, control, and strategy development
- Investigate embedded software problems, recommend appropriate actions, own problem resolution and document results
- Applie and support the improvement of embedded software development processes and tools.
The processes includes model-based development, coding, compiling and testing.
Tools includes Matlab/Simulink, integration tools, static analysis tools, compilers and Software/hardware in the loop test tools.
- Renew OBD algorithms and concepts with regards to future certification requirements
Key points:
Functional development, software design, documentation, implementation, testing and verification.
Spcializing in the technical domain such as vehicle, HMI, Combustion, Engine After treatment, Electro mobility, Powertrain control, Control Theory, Mechatronic, Diagnostics etc.
PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
We believe that you are a dedicated and driven person with a Bachelor or Master degree in the electrical- or computer related engineering field, as well as 0-2 years of experience of embedded software development.

It's advantageous if you have:
- Experience with embedded controls software development in Matlab and/or Simulink
- Good knowledge of Creta, ATI Vision, Python and C-programming
- Strong communication and presentations skills
- Excellent knowledge in English, both spoken and written
- Ability to successfully collaborate with global and cross-functional colleagues
