About the position

Perido is looking for an Order Coordinator for a position at one of our clients, a major company and well-known name in the automotive industry. The position is placed Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

As an Order Coordinator, your responsibilities include identifying and executing necessary actions to maintain a timely production order schedule. This involves monitoring order intake and capacities within the order management system (ARO), as well as overseeing a set of component capacities that influence order intake. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will closely interface with sales markets and regions, global production sites, program planning, and capacity management to ensure smooth operations and fulfillment of orders.

Summarized:

  • Secure 100% fulfillment of order book for markets & regions within the area of responsibility
  • Process order requests from markets & regions
  • Analyze production order book situation and proactively address issues & challenges
  • Create daily order report based on data in the Order Management system
  • Identify, develop and implement improvements both within team and cross-functionally. New ways of working, IT systems & tools as well as automation
  • Participate in the monthly program process and perform related order scheduling activities
  • Drive phase-out activities and secure all orders in system on time
  • Perform order movements in the system to reflect the latest program plan
  • Update and maintain KPI dashboards for management reviews

Taking ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities is key, and a willingness to learn various relevant systems is important.

Demonstrating curiosity and a proactive drive for change is crucial. Alongside operational duties, optimizing work processes to enhance efficiency is integral to the role. You should feel comfortable identifying and spearheading improvement initiatives collaboratively with team members and across different functions.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in academic qualification or equivalent experience
  • Used to work in Microsoft Excel, Power BI etc.
  • Some degree of analytical skills - data gathering, interpretation, reporting, presentation
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral

Meritorious:

  • Previous knowledge in Supply Chain areas or work within Order Management, Market ordering processes, Customer Support/Service or Plant planning processes
  • Knowledge in other languages

Contract type and hours

Full-time, consulting assignment between 2024-05-06 and 2025-06-27.
