We engineer products and solutions for components, systems and complete powertrains, covering advanced engineering of future technologies, product development and maintenance of products in production.  The Driveline department is responsible to design, test and deliver a diverse range of products, systems and software that make the complete transmission/driveline offer for combustion and electrified vehicles across the different brands of Volvo Group. We develop top quality engineering, and we make our customer operations more efficient by using a range of new tools, including Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence.  Roles and Responsibilities As Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to start-up and lead the development of new transmission solutions for both combustion and electric vehicles. Your will interface engineering teams, colleagues, suppliers, customers and partners from the multiple global locations where Volvo operates.  You will also be part of the Transmission Product Team, a group of approximately 15 highly skilled and experienced engineering professionals which holds the collective responsibility to lead the development of world-class gearboxes and propulsion systems, working in a stimulating, open and modern environment.  Your main responsibilities will be:  •    Manage projects with high technical complexity and significant business impacts, including several function areas in multiple locations across the globe. •    Your assigned projects will include development of new technologies or implementation of new concepts, affecting both global technical platform and local applications. •    Cooperate and guide several engineering teams, ensuring hardware and software technical deliveries to ultimately fulfil product requirements and project goals. Qualifications We are looking for a person with proven project management skills with ability to drive and motivate project teams. You possess a flexible mindset with ability to lead change and take decisions, and the ability to be clear and concise in communication. Very important is that you have a collaborative mindset and capabilities to interact with many different stakeholders.
