. Electronics Hardware Specialist Volvo Group Trucks Technology are looking for a new colleague within Computation HW team in the section Computational System Infrastructure. There is now an opportunity for you to join Volvo Group Trucks Technology in the development of our products. Computational System Infrastructure has an increased need of skilled Electronics Hardware Specialist within the group for group for Computation HW. The team is responsible for the complete chain from specification to industrialization of our central computation ECUs, all done in close cooperation with our suppliers throughout the world. We do this with the high Volvo Quality Standards ensuring the overall quality of HW and/or Systems within the Volvo Group. Position description As Electronics Hardware Specialist you will support with your technical expertise in various tasks around the development, test and industrialization of ECU HW. The primary role which you will be supporting is the HW Component Owners, who are the responsible for the ECUs which we are developing. You will be a part of several global cross-functional teams, but also representing ECU HW in different forums and communities.  Who are you We believe that you are genuinely interested in electrical, and electronics engineering and you want to take part of the very exciting journey we have in front of us developing an EE architecture for the future. Supporting others, is a key aspect of your daily work. Key responsibilities •    Support formulating technical requirements. •    Design review of circuit schematics, PCB layout, and mechanics. •    Review test plan, test reports and prototypes.  •    Give input to PCB quality and process control. •    Perform analysis and tests in electrical lab or in vehicle. •    Contribute to our company standards and ECU roadmap. Qualifications •    University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar. •    At least 5 years of experience within EE hardware development of embedded systems. •    Fluent in English, written and spoken.  •    A successful experience in electrical HW development will be an important merit. •    Experience from Advanced Product Quality Planning is a merit. •    ISO 26262 knowledge is a merit. A strong candidate possesses an analytical mindset, drive for improvement, and values personal integrity. They are results-oriented and flexible, with excellent networking and communication skills, contributing effectively to team dynamics.
