Today we’re in a phase of rapid international expansion. To facilitate this growth we are looking for a Chief Growth & Product Officer to lead our sales, marketing, and product development.

Your mission

As Chief Growth & Product Officer your primary focus will be crafting and executing Beetroot Academy’s international growth and product strategies.

To drive growth you'll identify and validate which markets to enter, craft our new market playbook, and drive ambitious yet sustainable commercial performance (i.e., more student enrolments) together with a small team of marketing, sales, and community professionals. As our offerings evolve, you’ll also play a key role in expanding our B2B line of business.

Alongside our product team you’ll continually develop our product suite to make sure we’re acutely aligned with market needs, continually provide value to our users, and retain our position at the frontier of education technology innovation.

You need to be goal-driven and unafraid to roll up your sleeves -- whether it’s workshopping new growth initiatives, attending in-person events, or working directly with potential students -- you must be ready to get involved throughout the entirety of growth and product.

Your market is ultimately the world, but your focus will expand as we see success in current key markets. Our ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, strong leadership abilities, a non-hierarchical worldview, and a belief in the power of education.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute Beetroot Academy’s international growth and product strategies by engaging and activating key stakeholders across the entire organization
  • Drive performance of the entire B2C funnel, from first marketing touch-point to full enrolment
  • Nurture Beetroot Academy’s product-led growth culture; identify and prioritize needed development to ensure long-term sustainable growth
  • Lead the growth and product organization, including managing team & individual performance
  • Validate and expand Beetroot Academy’s B2B stream, taking part in sales, marketing, and product discussions and initiatives
  • As needed, roll up your sleeves and execute on initiatives that impact growth and product


You have:

  • A deep understanding of B2C service business models and KPIs
  • A background in product development, working closely with marketing & sales
  • Experience leading, coaching, and growing teams
  • Experience working in EU markets
  • The ability to travel to existing and new markets as needed
  • Fluency in English (C1 or higher)


Will be a plus:

  • Previous work experience in Ed Tech, Education, or E-commerce
  • Recent hands-on experience working directly with digital marketing, email marketing, or other channels
  • Fluency in Ukrainian, Romanian, or Polish
