Job description

Olink continues to grow, and are now looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Quality Control team within Supply Chain. The QC team, which today consists of 10 people, is divided into two sub-teams: One with a focus on checking raw materials, components and finished products and one where the focus is on documentation, improvements and the Design Transfer process. As the company grows, the need for a Quality Engineer has increased. The main purpose of this position is to actively participate in the business development of the department, improve work processes and routines and support the Quality Control team with non-conformities, CAPAs and Change Control activities. The position is based in our Uppsala headquarters and reports to Head of Quality Control.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate projects and activities within Quality Control.
  • Manage and drive product care activities within Supply Chain including improvements, non-conformities, CAPAs and Change Control activities.
  • Actively participate in the business development of the department, i.e. create and improve work processes and routines.
  • Review batch documentation
  • Write instructions and methods.
  • Act as a supporting role to other people in the group
  • Plan, lead and participate in internal trainings
  • Compile and report the quality work within the department


Qualifications

  • MSc within Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience from Quality Engineer, Development Engineer within Quality or similar position within the Life Science industry.
  • Fluent Swedish and English in writing and speech
  • Experience/ knowledge with ERP systems.
  • Experience from ISO13485 certified or IVD/MD regulated business is highly beneficial.
