As our Engineering Manager for Platform Engineering, you lead, coach, and manage the team and staff. You will work with a group of driven, high-skill platform engineers and interface with developers and stakeholders across the company. The team serves our product organisation with a globally capable cloud platform and paves the road for product teams to operate their services easily and confidently. It works with everything from Google Cloud and Kubernetes to CI/CD and observability.
You will be our cloud and platform specialist in business conversations, guiding the company towards excellent outcomes. You will advocate our paved road philosophy and facilitate the scoping and slicing of increments to achieve a high velocity of valuable, viable, usable, and feasible increments.
Adapting and evolving our SaaS platform capabilities to meet increasing customer demands and provide an excellent developer experience is crucial for our success. We need to strategically transform our capabilities to leverage hybrid-cloud environments, cater to enterprise needs, and leverage security certifications to enable business success. We embrace petabytes and scalability while acknowledging that speed and simplicity are essential for success.
You are responsible for the employee lifecycle, including salary and performance review.
