Recap Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. In this role you will be part of our management team, supporting our local business units in Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Colombia, and Brazil.

As our Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, modeling, and finding optimal financial solutions for our projects, as we continue to expand our operations and navigate the complexities of the energy market.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for renewable energy and energy storage projects.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modelling, to evaluate project feasibility and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and assumptions for financial modelling and analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and investment memorandums for internal and external parties.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, price forecasts, and best practices in financial modelling for renewable energy projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and financial modelling software, with a strong understanding of complex formulas, functions, and macros.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, with a focus on renewable energy projects preferred.
• Understanding of renewable energy technologies, project finance principles, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change in the energy sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, and Swedish is a merit.
• Availability for travelling.
• Full-time position at the company office in Stockholm.
