We are looking for a Managing Director to our Sourcing Office in Taiwan, who can develop our team and our World Class Supplier base further. You are experienced and result-driven and have a strong team-spirit. Bufab Taiwan has around 20 employees, that secure Sourcing, Sustainability  & Quality. Your key responsibilities will be to develop the organization and our partners. Bufab’s business is about dedication, speed and trust. We deliver solutions, not products. The MD of our Sourcing Office in Taiwan is an important part of our success and shall contribute to ensure Bufab is recognized as a well-organized global player acting professional and with high requirements on sustainability, quality, service, and competitiveness delivering a world class supplier base to our customers. The role - Build, lead and develop a strong team and foster commitment and enthusiasm to achieve the set goals. - Lead the development of the sourcing office in Taiwan. - Develop and execute the company’s strategies to attain our goals. - Focus on developing long-term relationships with key suppliers. - Build trust towards our sister companies to remain a long-term relationship. - Being part of the Group Sourcing Circle, this individual is expected to contribute to strategic decisions and the future development of Bufab World class supplier base. - Coordinate with Regional Sourcing Directors on strategic planning and objectives and report regularly to the Global Sourcing & Sustainability Director on progress and target achievement. Required Qualifications & Competences - A business leader with broad experience of understanding the requirements to drive the business forward - Good communicator and can make yourself understood at any level of the business. - Previous experience of doing business in Asia. - Excellent organizational and leadership skills. - Proven experience of management position. - Business experience of +10 years in a Global Sourcing function. - Experience in supporting multi-functional projects in an international work environment with remote locations. - Understanding of supplier relationship management and application thereof. - Competence of working strategically, adequate track record preferred. - Positive mindset, with a strong interest in developing relationships with stakeholders. - Excellent and driven negotiator. - Action and goal-oriented team player with a high degree of self-management. - Ambition to be a part of an international, highly engaged team. - Ability to drive change processes. - Fluency in English (written and oral) is a must, second language preferred.
