Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.  On this journey, we are looking for a software developer to work with our future challenges within our own developed transmission control systems, both ICE and electrified powertrains. You will be part of the “Software architecture and configuration management” team and work with six other equally skilled and passionate engineers who work closely together.   Assignment  You will work with a broad area of tasks such as the software architecture, and the application software as well as enabling common tools and framework for our area of responsibility. Our mission is to work with the software architecture and set the standard for good implementations to meet the safety functional and cyber security requirements.  Are you a senior professional with solid experience in vehicle-embedded control systems? Do you like solving problems where the solution is far from obvious? Do you have a talent for structures in a complex context? Then you are the one we are looking for!   Your profile You probably have a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent and a couple of years of experience working with vehicle-embedded systems. Solid knowledge in C, Python, and Simulink is required. Previous experience from working with functional safety and/or cyber security is meritorious, as well as experience from test development and possession of a truck driving license. You are comfortable with taking the lead in the work and enjoy involving your colleagues in your work.
